The Iroquois, or also known as Haudenosaunee meaning the "People of the Longhouse", have dynamic and various cultural aspects. Their culture varies from clothing to music, making them a very strong group of individuals. They have a clear colour in terms of tradition and beliefs, and is one of the most recognized first nations groups in North America. Their habitat ranges around the Great lakes, and the Northeastern part of North America, which is current day New York, Quebec, Ontario, Oklahoma, etc. The original Iroquois League was often known as the Five Nations, as it was composed of the Mohawk, Oneida, Onondaga, Cayuga, and Seneca Nations. The language they speak are listed above including French and English. The current population of the Iroquois are approximately 125,000 and is decreasing due to isolation. The tribe is best known for the invention or Lacrosse, which is the Canadian national sport.
